MAXAR was created in 2018 as a holding company for four of the leading brands in the space industry; DigitalGlobe, MDA, SSL and Radiant. Genesis created a family of identities for the brands to leverage the power of the new enterprise’s end-to-end capabilities from designing, engineering, and constructing satellites and robotics, to providing Earth imagery, information, analytics and insights to the global marketplace.
Genesis repositioned MAXAR as “The nexus of the new space economy,” capitalizing on the success and history of its four brands while also signaling the agile nature of the new company. We developed a brand launch campaign using video, advertising, trade show, collateral and digital media to generate awareness and excitement as they went public on the NYSE and TSE.Business challenge: Create awareness across all key stakeholders for an entirely new entity comprised of 4 iconic brands
